What we did on our summer vacation. For those of you to whom it’d mean something: that last photo’s off CA 150, about three miles south of Ojai, a few seconds pre-pour.
I thought Moon Shot went out of business. Are they still brewing?
Not that I know of. I bought that one more than a year ago.
Lucky! I wanted to try it for a while then the whole Four Loko business screwed it up. (For those who don’t know Moonshot was brewed with caffeine.) There’s also a beer I used to drink right after I turned 21 that had a rocket theme, came in a cool blue bottle and was really awesome (because it was rocket themed, I have no recollection of the flavor) and I haven’t seen it in years.
I take it back. I found it. It was Apollo Lager by Big Bang Brewery. they are now out of business. The bottles were awesome. I stupidly didn’t keep one.
